Over Amir

Amir specializes in Reggae, Hiphop, Pop and Afrobeat and has a background in Latin, Fusion and Jazz.

He has years of stage experience and has played at festivals with various international artists, such as: U-Roy (JM), Etana (JM), Nkulee Dube (ZA), Papa Curvin (JM), Uwe Banton (DE), Roughouse (JM) and Kingseyes (NG).

As a drummer, he was also one of the founders of bands such as Mr. Weazley, Leeways (winner of the Grand Prize of NL), Riley's Band and the Toughcutt Band.

Over the years, Amir has played at places such as: Lowlands, Zwarte Cross, Paaspop, Reggae Lake, Kwaku, Rastaplas, Melkweg and Tivoli,

Radio 3FM, Radio 538, SBS and DWDD. (NL)
